Each year, your district offers awards in several categories. The competition will be recognized at the convention in Hilo, Hawaii. Below are the major awards, a little about them, their deadlines and district judging contacts. Please consider sending in applications for the various awards. These awards involve the District screening of the applicants and sending the winner to National for their competition.

Accepting the Challenge of Excellence (ACE) Award: This award is for a turn around student that honors a student who will be graduating with their class despite overcoming immense difficulties. Deadline April 24th, 2019. Submit entries to: Jim Schafer 15511 3rd Ave, Burien, WA 98166. District winner receives award plaque and $1500 and entry in National Competition where the national winner receives paid attendance to National Convention, plaque and $10,000 schoolarship. Exchangite of the Year: This award is for outstanding Exchangites. The award criteria can be found at on page 9 of the National Awards book and the application form on page 39. District applications (by April 24,2019) Care of the District President at 8914 East States Ln, Spokane, WA 99212.
All American Volunteer Award: This award honors a member of your club that is very involved in Exchange and possibly other organizations within your geographic areas. The criteria can be found on Page 9 of the National Awards Book and the application form on page 43, District applications (by April 24, 2019) go to Don Tuttle, 8930 Boardwalk Lane, Spokane, WA 99212.
