Hilo Exchange Club members Charlene Iboshi, Curtis and Ray Hasegawa communicated that they have been distracted by and kept busy with the recent lava disaster. Their involvement has included working with the disaster law clinics and other events.
Over 24 attorneys participated in the first clinic on June 23rd and served over 70 people.
A second clinic on June 30th served another 34 victims.
The Aloha Exchange Club provided support for the community-government collaborative involved with building 20 micro-units to house Puna Evacuees in emergency housing.
Many thanks Charlene (on the left) for sending the update.
